Private & Public Sector Approaches to Sustainability and Carbon Reporting

On Tuesday, October the 12th, our partner Inenco took over one of our webinars to bring our audience insight into a subject they know best; approaches to sustainability and carbon reporting. The one-hour webinar discussed the similarities and differences between public and private sector approaches.

As an ever-increasing number of organisations deploy strategies to reach net-zero carbon targets, whether that be the government's mandated 2050 target (2040 for the NHS) or more proactive targets set by independent organisations, it is clear that sustainability and carbon reporting lacks consistency across all sectors.

The public sector is starting to implement more standardised criteria, the new NHS Green Plan guidance for example however the private sector is ahead of the curve with a number of schemes already deployed to capture data and report consistently across multiple industries.
