Businesses aiming to win NHS contracts need to take note: starting April 1st, 2024, a net zero commitment and a publicly available carbon reduction plan are mandatory for bids. This requirement goes beyond current carbon reporting regulations by demanding the validation of planned actions and yearly progress updates. Failure to comply could mean exclusion from the NHS procurement process.

To celebrate International Women's Day, we invited a range of industry experts and NHS Professionals to discuss the need for women’s health to be at the centre of sustainable development. 

From exploring what NHS staff need from Electric Vehicle charging to debating charging speeds – where quick isn’t always best - to how to find a charger and using it, the session will also examine funding options and the full end-to-end service that Connected Kerb provides along the entire electrification journey from charging point site selection through to installation and maintenance.

The UK’s Medical Devices market has a projected market volume of US$17.25bn in 2022 alone, and many of the newly developed devices are being developed with sustainability at the core. Implementation of these new developments within the NHS could make a huge difference in the race to net zero. So, for our most recent event, we invited businesses with green medical device solutions which could help to further the NHS’s green agenda to talk about how their products and processes can benefit our healthcare system.
